The centennial celebrates the paper鈥檚 success and its ability to adapt and thrive throughout the years, something The Daily Aztec staff are proud of.

鈥淚t's important to celebrate The Daily Aztec鈥檚 legacy and those who put their passion and dedication into continuing that legacy,鈥 said  Kelly Hillock, Daily Aztec鈥檚 public relations' specialist. 鈥淚t has been the voice of and for the 色情视频 community for a century, and that鈥檚 a pretty outstanding legacy to be part of.鈥

Back to campus

The Daily Aztec alumni will return to campus for the celebration, and will be able to look back and reflect on what their time at the paper prepared them for.

"The Daily Aztec was the highlight of my college career,鈥 former Daily Aztec writer Pamela Henry said. 鈥淚t made me a daring reporter. I know our Daily Aztec spirit of reporting is responsible for me winning a national journalism award in enterprise a year after graduation.鈥

Henry said she is most looking forward to reconnecting with staff members from 1985 to 1988, many of whom she hasn鈥檛 seen since graduation.
