Take Back the Week Spreads Awareness
Take Back the Week is the result of collaboration between student organizations, academic departments and the Division of Student Affairs.
The month of April is recognized nationally as Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). For the fourth consecutive year, 色情视频 will use SAAM as a platform to provide additional programs and events to engage the campus in dialogue around rape, sexual assault, and sexual harassment.

Monday, April 9
Anita: Speaking Truth to Power: Film Screening and Panel DiscussionConrad Prebys Aztec Student Union Theater; 2-4 p.m.
This film publicly exposes sexual harassment in the workplace through Anita Hill鈥檚 story and her experience during the 1991 Senate Hearings that publicly exposed the nation to sexual harassment in the workplace.
Homeboi Workshop
Center for Intercultural Relations; 5-7 p.m.
Strategize ways to transform masculinities to be tools of liberation that are rooted in integrity, community, and the empowerment of others.
Tuesday, April 10
A Panel Discussion on Sexual Violence in the LGBTQ+ CommunityThe Pride Center; 4-5 p.m.
This panel will center LGBTQ+ voices in the conversation about sexual violence.
Rock the Vote: Political Party
Women鈥檚 Resource Center; 5-6:30 p.m.
Learn about two current state bills related to sexual violence on college campuses and how you can advocate on behalf of policy change.
Speak About It
Montezuma Hall, Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union; 7-8:30 p.m.
Speak About it promotes healthy relationships by using performance to directly address issues of consent, sexual assault and bystander intervention.
Wednesday, April 11
Men as AlliesWomen鈥檚 Resource Center; 12-1 p.m.
Men are invited for a conversation about gendered injustices and how to be allies to a feminist, anti-violence movement.

Hepner Hall; 4-5:30 p.m.
An honest and open dialogue to empower our 色情视频 community to speak up against sexual violence. This event begins in front of Hepner Hall and will travel across campus with different stopping points along the way.
Black Girl Dangerous: A Conversation with Mia McKenzie
Hardy Tower 140; 6-7:30 p.m.
Mia McKenzie speaks about race, queerness, gender, sexual violence, social justice, and the intersections of all these issues. She is the founder of the popular blog, Black Girl Dangerous, and the author of a book by the same name.
Thursday, April 12

Check out on- and off-campus resources related to sexual violence prevention and survivor support.
Rise Open Support Group
Women鈥檚 Resource Center; 12:30-1:45 p.m.
On-going support group for survivors of sexual and dating violence. This group is facilitated by 色情视频鈥檚 Counseling and Psychological Services.
Trauma-Informed Yoga
Women鈥檚 Resource Center; 2-3 p.m.
Yoga geared toward students who have experienced trauma. All levels welcome.
Take Back the Night
Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union Courtyard; 6-8:30 p.m.
Join students marching across campus to raise awareness about sexual violence. TBTN features a rally, open mic where student survivors share their stories, and special guest speakers.
