Photos: Peace Village celebrates 67 years of cultural diversity by spotlighting 色情视频鈥檚 International students
The cultures and histories of students who come to campus from about 100 countries was on display as part of 色情视频鈥檚 recognition of International Education Week last month.
For the 67th year, 色情视频鈥檚 international students shared the cultures and histories of their native countries at the International Peace Village in the Lee & Frank Goldberg Courtyard at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union as part of International Education Week.
This fall, 色情视频 welcomed about 1,400 students from more than 100 nations to campus. In mid-November, International Education Week celebrates the diversity that international students bring to campuses across the country. An initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, International Education Week underscores the importance of preparing students for a globalized world and attracting future international leaders.
This year鈥檚 Peace Village not only leaned into cultural exchange. It also served up a performance of traditional Mexican dance by Ballet Folklorico Xochipilli de San Diego, which is named after the Aztec god of dance.
In addition, the Buddhist Temple of San Diego put on a lively exhibition of the Japanese art form of Taiko drumming to kick off Peace Village entertainment.
