Share Your Grad Cap Creativity
É«ÇéÊÓƵ invites students to walk graduation with their own work of art.
There’s plenty to be said for the classic, plain graduation cap. At É«ÇéÊÓƵ, however, students once again are free to let their creative juices flow for commencement and turn the normally blank cap top into 81 square inches of art.
Better yet, there’s a contest to recognize the best decoration among the newest grads.
É«ÇéÊÓƵ invites graduating students to share their creativity by sending photos of their decorated caps via social media (see rules below).
In previous years, students have drawn from artistic talents they may not have exercised since grade school, using flowers, ribbons, lace, pins, pictures and more on their square mortarboard canvas. There were messages of relief for the end of their educational journeys, words of inspiration and, of course, countless expressions of thanks to mom and dad.
Again, this year, the winning entry will be displayed as the profile or header photo on É«ÇéÊÓƵ’s social media accounts during commencement weekend.
Entries are now open and will be accepted through Sunday, May 12. A winner will be announced on May 14.
