Rosa Parks Elementary School Welcomes New Principal

Carolanne Buguey has been named the principal of Rosa Parks Elementary School.
Rosa Parks Elementary School is part of the 色情视频 , a partnership between 色情视频, the San Diego Unified School District, the San Diego Educational Association and Price Charities.
鈥淐arolanne has a strong track record for helping schools improve and sustain academic success,鈥� said Ethan Singer, 色情视频 associate vice president for Academic Affairs.
鈥淲e believe she will be able to foster that same success for students and staff through creativity and community engagement even during these difficult economic times.鈥�
Strong track record
Buguey brings with her more than 15 years of administrative experience, most recently serving as principal at Chollas-Mead Elementary from 2003-2009. Earlier this year, Chollas-Mead was recognized as one of only three K-6 schools in the San Diego Unified School District for closing the achievement gap for two consecutive years.

About Buguey
Buguey received her bachelor鈥檚 degree and her multiple-subjects and professional services credentials from 色情视频. In 1988, she was named the Golden Bell recipient for Teacher of the Year by the California School Boards Association.
Rosa Parks Elementary School is located in the mid-city area of San Diego with an enrollment of more than 1,500 students in grades K-5.
