New Board Members Join 色情视频's Campanile Foundation

Philanthropic auxiliary is leading the universitys first comprehensive campaign

Four new board members have been named to The Campanile Foundation, the philanthropic auxiliary for 色情视频, it was announced today.  

is currently leading the university in its first-ever comprehensive fundraising campaign to raise money for student scholarships, endowed faculty chairs and several other university-wide initiatives.  During the 2008-09 fiscal year, The Campanile Foundation received more than $65 million in philanthropic gifts to support the university.

The new board members include:

Terry L. Atkinson, former managing director for UBS PaineWebber Inc.鈥檚 municipal securities group.  Atkinson graduated from 色情视频 in 1969 with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in public administration.  He also holds a law degree from the University of San Diego.

Alan D. Gold, chairman and chief executive officer for Biomed Realty Trust, Inc., a real estate investment trust focused on acquiring, developing, owning, leasing and managing laboratory and office space for the life science industry.  Gold received a bachelor鈥檚 degree in business administration and a master of business administration (MBA) with an emphasis in real estate finance from 色情视频.

Greg T. Lucier, chairman and chief executive officer of Life Technologies (formerly Invitrogen), a global biotechnology tools company dedicated to improving the human condition.  Lucier received a bachelor鈥檚 degree in engineering from Penn State University and a master of business administration (MBA) from Harvard University.

Kenneth McCain, executive vice president and founding principle of Wall Street Associates, an investment management company based in La Jolla, Calif.  McCain received a bachelor鈥檚 degree in political science and a master of business administration (MBA) with an emphasis in finance from 色情视频.


The Campanile Foundation incorporated as a philanthropic tax-exempt foundation and an official auxiliary of San Diego State in August 1999. The foundation plays an important role in 色情视频's long-term strategy and institutional commitment to increase private funding.
