Free Concerts this Fall
Members of the campus community can enjoy live music at noon each Wednesday.
The School of Music and Dance offers a free music enrichment series, featuring noon concerts each Wednesday for students, faculty, staff and community members. All performances are in Smith Recital Hall unless otherwise noted.
Take a break from your daily routine and enjoy outstanding faculty, student and guest performers.
The fall 2011 schedule incudes the following performances:
- Sept. 7: Navy Band Southwest Brass Quintet
- Sept. 14 in Rhapsody Hall: The Five Ensemble 鈥 classical chamber music
- Sept. 21: 鈥淗arvesting the Music Tree鈥 with Brenda Schuman-Post
- Sept. 28: Navy Band Southwest Woodwind Quintet
- Oct. 5: Hausmann Quartet
- Oct. 12: The Off & On Ensemble
- Oct. 19: Guest artist: Michael Dean, clarinet
- Oct. 26: Mixed ensembles
- Nov. 2: Richard Thompson, Geoffrey Keezer, jazz pianos
- Nov. 9: Chamber Choir
