For the inaugural President鈥檚 Lecture Series, 色情视频 President Elliot Hirshman will invite Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs to campus on Jan. 31 for a ticketed, invitation-only lecture.

Jacobs will present 鈥淪ocietal Issues 鈥� How Can Wireless Technology Enhance Global Quality of Life鈥� from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. The lecture will be streamed live to and will be taped for viewing after the event.

The President's Lecture Series is just one example of how the university engages the San Diego region, a key initiative of The Campaign for 色情视频. About Jacobs

Paul E. Jacobs is chairman of Qualcomm鈥檚 board of directors and the company鈥檚 chief executive officer. A leader in the field of mobile communications for more than two decades and a key architect of Qualcomm鈥檚 strategic vision, Jacobs鈥� responsibilities include leadership and oversight of all the company鈥檚 initiatives and operations.

Through his technology innovations and advocacy, Jacobs spearheaded Qualcomm鈥檚 efforts to develop and commercialize mobile technology breakthroughs that have contributed significantly to the growth of both the company and the industry, including the first Palm OS-based smartphone and the inclusion of GPS capabilities in mobile phones.
