Five new faculty and directors join the 色情视频 family for fall 2012.

As the new academic year gets underway, San Diego State welcomes new faculty members and directors.

Please welcome the following individuals to the 色情视频 family:

College of Arts and Letters
Department of Religious Studies
Mihwa Choi, Ph.D. (University of Chicago 2008) Choi is a historian of religion specializing in religions of China and started teaching at 色情视频 in spring 2012. Her scholarship probes the roles of religion in shaping cultural, social, and political landscapes by focusing on the questions of power, agency, and social classes. Additional fields of study include Religions of Korea and Social Theories of Religion. Most recently she has been Assistant Professor of Asian Religions at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

College of Health and Human Services
School of Exercise and Nutritional Sciences
Laila Alibiglou, Ph.D., PT (Northwestern University 2010) Alibiglou is a neuroscientist and physical therapist specializing in neurologic rehabilitation, neural control of human locomotion, Stroke, and Parkinson鈥檚 disease. Currently, she is a member of the team conducting a multi-institutional research study funded by Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson鈥檚 Research.

School of Nursing
Philip A. Greiner, DNSc, RN (University of Pennsylvania 1989) Greiner assumes the leadership as the Director of the 色情视频 School of Nursing with nine years of administrative experience at Fairfield University School of Nursing and Pace University College of Health Professions. His area of practice expertise is public health nursing, while his research emphasis is aging and community-based participatory research. His current research follows the developing health-related interests in urban and rural Nicaraguan communities.

College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts
School of Art, Design, and Art History
, M.F.A. (Claremont Graduate University 1973) Gordon is the new Director of the school of art, design, and art history and a visual artist working in the mixed-media assemblage tradition. Gordon鈥檚 artworks are a hybrid of two artistic traditions: the assemblage thread that connects artists such as Ed and Nancy Keinholz, George Herms, and H.C. Westermann; and the spatial/perceptual explorations of artists like Robert Irwin, James Turrell and Maria Nordman. His works explore and press the boundaries of contemporary visual expression.

College of Sciences
Department of Physics
Mauro Tambasco, Ph.D. (University of Western Ontario 2002) Tambasco is a board certified Clinical Medical Physicist whose previous appointment since 2004 was as Medical Physicist/Assistant Professor in the Departments of Oncology and Medical Physics at the University of Calgary. His research ranges from developing novel techniques for the prognosis of prostate, breast, and lung cancer from histology sections to computational and experimental approaches for determining individual patient radiation doses from kilovoltage x-ray radiotherapy imaging procedures.
