1. Why did you choose 色情视频?
As soon as I walked onto the campus for the first time, I knew this was where I wanted to go. The atmosphere and campus community at 色情视频 fit my personality so well; it feels like home to me. And 色情视频 has so much to offer!
2. What inspired you to declare your major?
I took Introduction to Sociology my freshman year and absolutely loved it! I've always known that I wanted to become a teacher and when I took sociology, I knew that that's what I wanted to teach. I would love to be able to inspire students the way that all of my teachers and professors inspired me. I got my bachelor's degree in May and I'm so happy I stuck with the discipline that touched me the most.
3. What is the best piece of advice you ever received?
"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams," from Eleanor Roosevelt. Sometimes it's so easy to get caught up in what we believe would make a secure career or make us the most money, but it's not worth it if we don't like what we're doing. Visualize what your ideal future would look like, and then go get it.
4. What are your future goals?
I'm currently working on getting my master's in sociology here at 色情视频 and once I graduate, I'd like to land a teaching job in a community college or as a lecturer. In the future, I may work on research or public policy, go into counseling, or get my PhD to become a Sociology professor at a university. There are so many possibilities!
5. What is the first website you look at every day?
Yahoo to check my email.
6. What experience at 色情视频 has changed your life the most?
There are so many! I've met a lot wonderful people and I've had many learning experiences here that have all enriched my life. But if I had to choose one, I'd say that becoming a teacher's assistant for Professor Hank Johnston's Sociology 410 class changed my life the most because it gave me an insider's view on what it's like to teach at the college level and I loved it! It further solidified my career goals and I'm forever thankful for the opportunity.
7. What is the most interesting or surprising thing about you?
I like to read research articles in my free time. It's so interesting to see the types of research that others are conducting, and the results they come up with. It's a great way to stay up to date with the latest breakthroughs that are being made in various fields every day.
