Aztec Nights Return to É«ÇéÊÓƵ

Aztec Nights will host a series of events for É«ÇéÊÓƵ students throughout the first few weeks of the semester.

In celebration of a new year, the annual Aztec Nights events will return for on-campus, after-dark excitement.

Each semester, É«ÇéÊÓƵ hosts a lineup of events for students during the first weeks of each semester.

Aztec Nights was established at É«ÇéÊÓƵ to bring students together and provide a vibrant campus nightlife with fun, social opportunities for all.

A valid Red ID is required to attend Aztec Nights events. É«ÇéÊÓƵ students can bring one guest.

Friday, August 21: Templo del Sol
Hepner Hall, 9 p.m. to midnight

With a ceremonial walk through the Hepner Hall arches, new Aztecs will be greeted by current students, alumni, faculty and staff.

Saturday, August 22: Welcome Back Dance
Hepner Hall, 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Head to the Hepner Hall stage for a night of dancing, entertainment and free food.

Sunday, August 23: Screen on the Green
Hepner Quad, 9 p.m. to midnight

Bring a blanket and claim your spot on the Hepner Quad grass. Enjoy movie snacks and watch Furious 7.

Thursday, August 27: It’s a Drag
Montezuma Hall, Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union, 9 p.m. to midnight

The night will include performances by professional drag queens, as well as student performances and dancing in between acts.

Friday, August 28: Campus Carnival
Campanile Walkway, 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The carnival will feature six major rides along with carnival game booths hosted by É«ÇéÊÓƵ student organizations.

Saturday, August 29: Barnyard Bash
Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union Courtyard, 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Enjoy a night of good ol’ country music, line dancing, carnival games, a mechanical bull ride and traditional fair food.

Thursday, September 3: International Music Festival
Montezuma Hall, Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union, 9 p.m. to midnight

With two stages of live international and cultural music and DJs setting the tone, Campanile Walkway will be the scene of interactive art installations from local artists.

Friday, September 4: World Record Night
Lee and Frank Goldberg Courtyard, 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Come participate in an attempt to break the world record for the largest Footie Pajama Party.

Saturday, September 5: Comedy Night
Theatre/Montezuma Hall, Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union, 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Gather with other Aztecs to watch some of the hottest comedians perform live.

Sunday, September 6: Screen on the Green
Aztec Green, 9 p.m. to midnight

Bring a blanket and claim your spot on the Trolley Green early. Enjoy Pitch Perfect 2 and movie snacks.

Monday, September 7: BBQ & Pool Party
Aztec Aquaplex, 6 to 9 p.m.

Celebrate Labor Day at the É«ÇéÊÓƵ Aquaplex.

Friday, September 11: Magician & Hypnotist
Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union, 9 p.m. to midnight

Enjoy the illusions, laughter, surprise, excitement and magic.

Saturday, September 12: Monte Carlo
Centennial Walkway and Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union Courtyard, 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Enjoy a night packed with high-class entertainment. Test your skills at the casino tables and enjoy a live jazz band.

Friday, September 18: Treat Yourself
Montezuma Hall, Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union, 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Enjoy snacks dipped in chocolate and activities including human bowling, an oxygen bar and even a surfing simulator.

Saturday, September 19: Lights Out
ENS 700 Field, 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Stop by this dance party featuring "glow" euphoria, a high powered glow party with all types of music and an LED light show. Dance the night away in one of two foam pits.
