New Faculty: College of Business Administration
The College of Business Administration welcomes six new faculty members to their team this fall. These new additions are leaders and innovators in business education.
They are among 53 new faculty members joining the 色情视频 family this semester.
Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy
Jundong 鈥淛eff鈥 Wang, Ph.D., C.F.A. (University of Illinois at Urbana鈥揅hampaign 2014)
Wang will join the faculty of the Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy this fall. He previously worked in the banking industry in Hong Kong. He has published in top accounting journals. His areas of interest include stock and derivative markets鈥 reaction to accounting information; analysts鈥 private information search and utility function; determinants of audit fee; and voluntary disclosure of management forecasts. He is presently researching the relation between investor sentiment and analysts鈥 private information search. He is also working on option market鈥檚 reaction to accounting restatements.

Timothy Trombley, Ph.D. (Purdue University 2015)
Trombley holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, an M.B.A. from the University of Cincinnati and a Ph.D. in Finance from Purdue University.
Department of Management
Valerie Grissom, Ph.D. (University of Hawaii at Manoa 2012)
Grissom is a scholar in the field of international business and management and an 色情视频 alumna. Her areas of research include cultural intelligence, cross-cultural training, cross-cultural organizational behavior and business ethics. Her research has been published in the Academy of Management Learning and Education Journal, Journal of Business Ethics, Cross Cultural Management: An International Journal and Academy of Management Best Paper Proceedings. She is a recipient of the Academy of Management Annual Meeting鈥檚 Best Paper and Best Symposium awards. Before joining academia Valerie was a managerial consultant at Accenture, a product manager for a Silicon Valley startup, and an entrepreneur.
Taekjin Shin, Ph.D. (University of California, Berkeley 2008)
Shin鈥檚 research interests include corporate governance, top management teams, executive compensation, executive succession, boards of directors, organizational sociology and institutional theory. He is currently studying the institutional explanation for the rise of executive compensation in the United States, the symbolic effect of shareholder-value orientation on the career outcomes of executive managers including CEO compensation and CEO dismissal, and the linkage between corporate downsizing and executive compensation.
Department of Management Information Systems
Xialu Liu, Ph.D. (Rutgers 2015)
Liu is a statistician specializing in data analysis. Her areas of interest include functional time series, high-dimensional data analysis, dynamic factor models, nonparametric analysis, Markov chain Monte Carlo method, data mining, and risk management. Besides theoretical methodology, she is also interested in statistical applications in business, engineering and sciences. Liu implemented these statistical models, analyzed data including tourism data, traffic volume data and stock data, and provided accurate predictions for decision-making process. These works have been published in or submitted to Computational Statistics, Statistica Sinica and Journal of Econometrics.
Department of Marketing
Gabriel R. Gonzalez, Ph.D. (Arizona State University 2001)
Gonzalez鈥檚 areas of research and expertise include the management of customer relationships, sales force management, service infusion approaches for product manufacturing firms, and the effects of interpersonal networks among buying and selling firm performance. He has received numerous teaching awards at the MBA and undergraduate levels. In addition he has designed and delivered highly impactful corporate learning programs. He has published extensively and his research has appeared in leading journals such as the Journal of Marketing, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, the Journal of Services Marketing, the Journal of Advertising Research and the Journal of Marketing Education.
