Cinco de Mayo Concert in the Park
Jarabe Mexicano reimagines a popular annual cultural celebration in Balboa Park.
Overseeing the event is Jarabe Mexicano, an ensemble inspired by Latin American Sonora orchestras and modern-day mariachi music.
The concert also features the 色情视频 Jazz Ensemble, 色情视频 Wind Symphony, and a special tribute to the music of Juan Gabriel. Master of Ceremonies and local celebrity Carlos Amezcua will salute his father, Don Oscar Amezcua, and his legendary group Mariachi Gudalajara.

Pre-concert festivities begin at 4 p.m. in the Plaza de Panama with the City Heights Mariachi Ensemble and a robust offering of cuisines, courtesy of San Diego鈥檚 finest food trucks.
