Henry Villegas served in an interim role prior to the appointment.
Henry Villegas has been named Dean of Students of 色情视频 Imperial Valley. Prior to his permanent appointment, Villegas served in an interim capacity since January 2021.
Villegas has more than 30 years of experience in higher education administration, having served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Student Development at Indiana State University, the Associate Athletic Director for Student Development at the University of New Mexico, and the Associate Director of Educational Opportunity Programs and Ethnic Affairs at 色情视频.

Villegas received both his bachelor鈥檚 degree in social science education and his master鈥檚 degree in counseling from Indiana State University. He went on to earn his doctoral degree in educational leadership from The University of New Mexico. His research areas include the impact of intentional student support on underserved populations and the application of student development theory in student affairs.

The announcement comes at a time of critical growth for the university.
