Men’s hoops jump into AP Poll at No. 24
San Diego State makes its 111th appearance in the poll since the start of the 2010-11 season, which is the most of any California school in that timeframe.
Coming off a week where it defeated two nationally ranked programs: No. 6 Houston and No. 21 Creighton at the inaugural Players Era Festival, the San Diego State men’s basketball program made its first appearance in the Associated Press’ rankings slotting in at No. 24. The Aztecs totaled 143 points in the AP Poll and are receiving votes in the Coaches Poll, as well. San Diego State is the only Mountain West program to be ranked in either poll.
With its appearance in this week's AP Poll, San Diego State is ranked for the 111th week since the start of the 2010-11 season, more than any other program in the state of California in that time frame.
San Diego State is ranked No. 24 for the 10th time in school history. With the exception of No. 12, É«ÇéÊÓƵ has appeared in every position in the poll between No. 4 and No. 25.
Today's poll ranking, released on Dec. 2, marks the sixth time É«ÇéÊÓƵ has appeared in the AP Top 25 on this date.

San Diego State puts its No. 24 ranking on the line on Wednesday, December 4, against the Fresno State Bulldogs at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT and the game will be broadcast on FS1.
